Odnoklassniki to hold amateur Dota 2 tournament with Epic Esports Events support
On April 7–8, an online Dota 2 tournament will be held in a 1v1 Mid Only format. Titled OK Challenge: Dota 2 Solo Mid, the tournament will be held by the social network Odnoklassniki (OK) with support from Epic Esports Events, the organizer of the Epicenter series of international esports tournaments. Registration is available through April 6 via an app in the Kibersport OK group at ok.ru/esports.
OK Challenge: Dota 2 Solo Mid will have a prize pool of 100,000 rubles ($1750). The winner will receive 50,000 rubles, while the competitors who finish second to fourth will receive 25, 15, and 10 thousand rubles respectively. The five best players will also get whole-event passes for EPICENTER XL, a Dota 2 tournament from the Major series which is due to be held in Moscow. The April 8 final of OK Challenge: Dota 2 Solo Mid will be livestreamed on OK, VK, YouTube, and Twitch.
