EPICENTER XL Dota 2 series claims Eventex Awards 2019 Prize
Eventex Awards, the ultimate benchmark in the international events world, has announced winners of the 2019 annual competition. The jury has elected EPICENTER XL tournament in Dota 2, hosted by Epic Esports Events (a member of ESforce esports holding) in the spring of 2018, as the best event in the nomination “Russian Event.”

EPICENTER XL is the first Major-class tournament in the history of the Russian esports to reach the mark of $1 000 000 prize pool. Over 24 thousand tournament guests have been witnessing a great performance of 12 world-class Dota 2 teams, with more than 19,4 mln viewers from all over the globe watching live broadcasts. Total cumulative views of the Russian broadcast exceeded 23,4 mln, while English broadcasts reached 22,6 mln views.
2019 marked the ninth anniversary of Eventex Awards. 331 entries from over than 40 countries were assessed on the way to the finals.
Epic Esports Events specializes in organizing international competitions and is the organizer of the EPICENTER series in Dota 2 and CS:GO in Moscow and Saint Petersburg throughout 2016-2018. More than 24 million online spectators watched the first tournament of the series, EPICENTER: Moscow. The tournament was recognized the best Live Entertainment event by the leading European award EUBEA 2016.
