The Konstantin Khabensky Charity Foundation and Cybersport.ru announce a joint project within the framework of the federal social campaign
The Konstantin Khabensky Charity Foundation and Cybersport.ru launched a joint project within the framework of the federal social campaign #raklechitsya (cancer is curable): Cybersport.ru will publish a series of stories of young wards of the foundation who have had cancer, where they will talk about their hobbies in games and esports. Also, Cybersport.ru journalists talked with their parents and brothers to find out about their attitude to hobbies and learn how gaming and winning favorite teams help to distract from the difficult situation in the family for a while.
Alena Saveleva, Head of the Konstantin Khabensky Charity Foundation's program "To know and not be afraid":
"We launched the #raklechitsya campaign in order to change the perception of cancer in society and make as many people as possible believe that cancer is not a verdict. We are sure that this will give strength and support to those who are fighting the disease now. The heroes who became the faces of our campaign are the best example that cancer is being treated and we need to fight it! We are very happy that with the help of Cybersport.ru the Konstantin Khabensky Charity Foundation will be able to share this with a young audience".
Nikolay Petrosyan, Head of Cybersport.ru:
"It is a great honor for us to be part of such a noble and important campaign. We hope that the stories of the wards of the foundation will help to prove and fix in the minds of our readers that cancer is curable and you should not be afraid to regularly check your health. The sincere stories of the project's heroes once again convince us that the hobbies of game and esports fans help us overcome difficult situations."
