Virtus.pro signed contracts with their new Dota 2 squad

Virtus.pro signed one-year contracts with Dota 2 players. The new agreements mean a new approach to the professional eSports team management. The new approach brings together experience of managing both professional eSports teams and traditional sports clubs.

The following players signed contracts with Virtus.pro:

  • Alexei "Solo" Berezin
  • Ilya "Lil" Ilyuk
  • Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnaryov
  • Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko
  • Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov

“In August we announced our new Dota 2 roster, and today I am glad to tell that our players have all signed long-term contracts with the organization, — told Anton Cherepennikov, head of ESforce Holding. — The guys have great potential, and we do our best to help them unveil it. The players are currently at their first bootcamp, and we are looking forward to the tournament schedules for the next months.”

Solo has also noted Roman "Ramzes666" Kushnaryov, one of our new players. He reached 9,000 MMR at the end of August becoming the third Dota 2 player in the world to reach this level.

Our new roster is playing its first official match in the end of September at BTS Europe.

Founded in 2003, Virtus.pro is the oldest Russian eSports organization. It owns rosters competing in Dota 2, Counter-Strike, Hearthstone. The organization’s teams are the multi-time champions of Russia and the CIS and are multi-time winners of various international tournaments. The organization currently has 108 gold, 93 silver and 81 bronze medals across more than 10 eSports titles.
