The State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom becomes the official partner of the 5th season of Dota 2 Champions League (D2CL). The Rosatom brand will be integrated into the broadcast, and two-way communication will be conducted in the RuHub Studio's social networks.

D2CL Season 5 matches will be held from November 8 to 28, 2021 with the prize pool is $50.000. The tournament will be attended by V-Gaming, HellRaisers, Nemiga Gaming, Brame, Khan, Hydra, Team Empire, Creepwave, B8 and NoMarci - the winner of the open qualifiers.

Evgeny Abakumov, Information Technology Director at Rosatom State Corporation, noted that such esports competitions are not only a platform for the manifestation of teamwork and personal qualities, but also sincere emotions of participants:

"Esports is a new reality that opens up opportunities for the corporation development and the entire industry. Contrary to stereotypes about large state-owned companies, we focus on the interests of our current and potential employees, respecting their passion for games. Competitive disciplines develop skills that will be useful for working in our company: team interaction, leadership qualities, creative and strategic thinking. In addition, esports events are an incredible competitive spirit, breaking the course of the game at the last moment and emotions from long-awaited victories. We are glad to support the Dota 2 Champions League tournament and sincerely wish the participants success."

This is not the first time Rosatom has implemented projects on the esports territory. Earlier, the state corporation launched a website for talented IT specialists interested in computer games.

Mark Averbukh, Product Director at Epic Esports Events:

"In our industry, most specialists are interested in esports and games. This gives additional motivation to work. And it is very gratifying when companies and especially state corporations see in esports this motivational tool that helps to find and retain talented employees. We thank Rosatom for their trust in communicating with fans of games and esports!"

The Dota 2 tournament is organized by the Epic Esports Events operator with the support of the Russian Computer Sports Federation. The broadcast and commentary of D2CL is organized by RuHub Studio.
