VKontakte to show a series of esports tournaments together with RuHub

A series of Dota 2 and CS:GO competitions will be broadcast on the social platform in partnership with the esports studio.

VKontakte will show a series of the largest Dota 2 tournaments and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Users will have access to more than 1000 hours of live broadcasts in Russian per year, as well as its highlights. The broadcasts will be held in partnership with the RuHub Studio: the organizations have announced the beginning of long-term cooperation.

This year, VKontakte and RuHub will show a number of prominent competitions: OGA Pit CS:GO, OGA Pit Dota 2, CS Summit, Dota Summit, etc. Esports fans are the first to see the broadcast of the new OGA DOTA PIT Invitational tournament — it will be available in the official VK Dota 2 community. The tournament will be held online from September 6 to 10. Eight teams will take part in the competition, including PSG.LGD, Tundra Esports, T1, and other famous esports organizations.

The first broadcast will begin on September 6 at 13:00 Moscow time, the teams PSG.LGD and Team Undying will meet there. The second match will be held at 16:00 where players from Team Spirit will face the Korean T1 team. The competitions will be held up to two wins, and the grand final up to three. The prize pool is $275 000, the winner will receive $144.500.
